THE PROBLEM
Chrome deprecated Manifest V2, forcing a migration to the more restrictive declarative net request API of V3 - and YouTube's ad-injection mechanisms needed custom blocking logic that kept breaking with every YouTube update.
WHAT WE BUILT
We migrated the full architecture to V3 service workers and declarative rules, rebuilt YouTube-specific blocking, and refactored the legacy codebase for the new architecture.
